Job Description

Responsible for reviewing tender documents and identifying any loopholes and potential contractual as well as financial risks.

Should be able to interpret and be well conversant with FIDIC conditions of the contract specifically, the FIDIC Red Book 1987 Edition reprinted in 1992 with further amendments and FIDIC Red and Yellow book1999 Edition.

Analyzing contract clauses, liabilities, and preventing any potential disputes that may arise because of the same.

Assisting in drafting of LOA, Subcontract Agreements, Service agreements, Supply Agreements, Tripartite Agreements, Amendments and Addendums there to by coordinating with the internal departments.

Drafting of payment structures and reimbursement conditions.

Post contract administration of Main Contracts and Subcontracts throughout the course of project which includes but not limited to drafting of appropriate notice, claims, rejoinders in accordance with conditions of the Contract/Subcontract Agreements.

Well conversant with claim, variations, dispute mechanism under FIDIC Conditions of Contract.

Excellent drafting and communication skills.

Attending meetings with the Engineer/Employer to defend company's contractual position.

Able to draft, make amendments within the performance and advance payment bank guarantees and retention bonds and verify bank guarantees and bonds received from the subcontractors.


Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical or mechanical engineering or any other relevant discipline.

7-10 years of hands -on experience in pre and post contract administration of FIDIC based contracts.
