Job Description

  • Develop and implement project-specific logistics strategies and plans to optimize the movement of resources.
  • Manage the flow of materials, tools, and heavy equipment, including monitoring inventory levels, procurement, and storage.
  • Work with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources to the construction site.
  • Coordinate the movement of people and equipment on-site and oversee site facilities management.
  • Monitor and adjust delivery schedules to meet construction timelines and identify and resolve lead-time constraints.
  • Manage budgets, analyze costs, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Supervise logistics staff, collaborate with project managers and other team members, and maintain good stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify and resolve logistical challenges and delays proactively.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on logistics activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, business administration, or any related field.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Construction Industry.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvements to logistics processes.
  • Strong negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and vendors, and excellent communication for collaborating with internal teams and customers.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
