Job Description

RAQ Contracting is looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Finishing to oversee and coordinate finishing works for building construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing site activities, ensuring quality workmanship, and completing projects in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

  • Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities, including plastering, tiling, painting, flooring, ceilings, joinery, and architectural works.

  • Ensure execution of works as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other project teams to ensure smooth site operations.

  • Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of finishing activities.

  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with approved quality standards.

  • Identify and resolve site-related technical and coordination issues.

  • Ensure proper material planning, manpower allocation, and productivity.

  • Coordinate snagging, rectification, and handover activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in building construction, with strong finishing experience.

  • Previous experience with a main contractor is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and construction standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

  • Good coordination, communication, and site management skills.

  • Candidates must be immediately available to join.
