Role Purpose:
Strategic Project Leadership Lead and oversee the execution of multiple projects across the company portfolio. Align project execution with the company’s strategic objectives and profitability targets. Provide direction to Project Managers and Construction Teams to ensure efficient delivery. Project Delivery & Performance Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Monitor project progress, schedules, and milestones. Review weekly and monthly project performance reports. Commercial & Contract Management Oversee contractual compliance with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Monitor variations, claims, and change orders. Ensure proper cost control and profitability across projects. Support the commercial team in negotiations and dispute resolution. Client & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary senior contact with clients, developers, and key stakeholders. Ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationship management. Attend high-level meetings with developers, consultants, and authorities. Resource & Team Management Manage and supervise Project Managers, Engineers, and construction teams. Ensure proper allocation of manpower, equipment, and resources. Support HR in performance evaluation and development of project teams. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and regulatory requirements. Promote a safety-first culture across all project sites. Monitor incident reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Quality Management Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards. Oversee implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures. Ensure proper handover and project closeout procedures. Coordination with Internal Departments Coordinate with: Commercial Department (cost control & claims) Procurement Department (materials and subcontractors) Technical/Engineering Department (design and approvals) Finance Department (cash flow and payment certificates) Risk & Problem Resolution Identify project risks, delays, or disputes. Implement corrective strategies and mitigation plans. Escalate critical issues to executive management when required. Reporting to Executive Management Provide regular reports to the Operations Manager on: Project progress Financial performance Risks and delays Resource planning
